Allanna Jost, OT
Occupational Therapist

Originally from Bedford, NS, Allanna completed her Masters of Science in Occupational Therapy from Dalhousie University in 2010. She also holds a Bachelor of Education (2003) and Bachelor of Arts in Human Kinetics (2001). Prior to becoming an Occupational Therapist, she was a Physical Education Teacher both aboard and locally for 5 years. The combination of her education and work experience help to provide a holistic experience and perspective for clients. She is motivated in helping clients recognize their rehab potential and return to meaningful occupations in all facets of their lives.

Allanna has training and experience in: Ergonomic Assessments, Assessment of the Hand and Wrist, Upper Extremity Splinting, Speciality Seating and Assessment, Wheelchair Prescription, Assessment and Maintenance, and Home Assessments for Safety and Falls Prevention.

Her approach is driven by her strong belief that participation in meaningful activity enhances the quality of life, and is essential to the health and well-being of a person.
